Thermoplastic single ply membranes are revolutionizing the commercial and industrial roofing industry. They represent the fastest growing segment of the U.S. roofing market over the past five years. The TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) product advances the category yet another step by combing the hot-air welding benefit of PVC with the greater flexibility and weatherability benefits of EPDM, the more traditional single ply material. TPO is aesthetically pleasing, lightweight, highly reflective, and is tear resistant. It also offers excellent fire resistance. '

      • EPDM
        • Single-Ply EPDM

This thermoset membrane is compounded from rubber-polymer and is often referred to as rubber roofing. Some of the features that contribute to the popularity of EPDM single ply roofing include long-term weatherability, including excellent resistance to temperature extremes, sunlight, ozone, and moisture, ease, speed, and cleanliness of installation. This lightweight synthetic elastomer material has been used since the early 1970s. Another feature is adaptability. Varied application techniques such as ballasted, fully adhered, and mechanically fastened, allow EPDM roofing systems to be applied to virtually any roof surface: flat, spherical, curved, or slanted.

You need insulation in your home to provide resistance to heat flow. Heat flows naturally from a warmer to a cooler space. Heat flow can also move indirectly through interior ceilings, walls, and floors - wherever there is a difference in temperature. To maintain comfort, heat gained must be removed by your cooling system. Properly insulating your home will decrease this heat flow by providing an effective resistance to the flow of heat. An insulation's resistance to heat flow is measured or rated in terms of its thermal resistance or R-value. An R-value indicates an insulation's resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating effectiveness.

      How does it work?
A Solahart water heater uses the sun’s natural energy to heat water.

      How does it save money?
Solahart hot water heaters use up to 100% less energy than conventional water heaters. Using less energy means you can make big savings on your hot water energy costs. So even though you’ll be using the same amount of water that you used with a conventional water heater, a Solahart uses much less energy to heat the water.
And with all the high energy costs you’ll be saving, a Solahart can pay for itself over time.

What if the sun isn't shining?
Even on rainy days you have enough reserve hot water capacity with the 180 liter or 300 liter holding tanks. An electric booster is also included in the system and can be connected if needed. Our experience has shown us that in our climate no electronic booster is needed. That means you can enjoy hot water when you want it, even on overcast days or at night.

AGR Group has found out that TPO is not only useful for keeping water out of your house when applied to your roof, but also for keeping water in. We have applied TPO technology to underground cisterns (called regenbaks in Curaçao) to waterproof and completly seal the area where your rain water is captured. This means that the water which is captured from the rain, will now remain in your underground cistern without loosing it through cracks in the concrete or porous blocks.

Tubular Daylighting Devices, or TDDs for short, are affordable, high-performance lighting solutions that bring daylight into interior spaces where traditional skylights and windows simply can’t reach. Sometimes called “tubular skylights,” “light tubes,” “sun pipes,” and even “light tunnels,” TDDs have become the ideal solution for lighting interiors in a cost-effective, energy-efficient and eco-friendly way because they significantly reduce the need for electricity while keeping people connected to the outdoor environment.
